About Dylan

Brother Dylan Foundation was founded by Dylan de Bruin. Dylan grew up in The Hague and in his youth he frequently came into contact with all kinds of crime. His passion in everything he undertakes brings him to the strangest places where he experiences bizarre things.

Dylan's life is dark. Bound by drugs and booze , he looks for a way out in the military. As a soldier, he quickly finds his niche. In fact, he is doing so well that Dylan is selected for the sniper group. Only the best of the Paratroopers actually make it through this selection.

God? Dylan has had nothing to do with that his whole life. And yet the Holy Spirit is already working in his heart at that very moment. Because when Dylan meets a beautiful girl at this time in his life, he walks up to her and says, "Are you a Christian?" Dylan has no idea why he says that. But the girl indeed turns out to be Christian and not much later becomes his wife. At the age of 23, Dylan comes to repentance. Drugs held Dylan in their grip, but through 1 prayer he is rid of them.

In the military, Dylan continues to grow. As a sniper, he goes on several deployments. The tragic and violent events during the deployments leave deep marks on him, which he himself is unaware of at the time. 

Finally, at the age of 30, Dylan leaves the military. God calls him to make Jesus known.

A strong urge now arises in Dylan to pray for the sick. In the years that follow, he gives more and more heed to that urge, seeing the blind, the deaf and the lame healed. Broken bones disappear before his eyes and people are healed of all kinds of ailments and diseases. As a result, the gospel lands deeply in the hearts of many.

Dylan is 33 years old at the time. He has been out of the military for some time, but the military is still deep inside him. In fact, Dylan's daily life completely collapses: he himself is diagnosed with PTSD and his wife is diagnosed with cancer. 

Dylan disappears from the forefront during that time and a tough 7-year period follows. Jesus heals Dylan from PTSD and his wife heals from cancer. Dylan's marriage is miraculously completely restored by God.

With 10 years of preparation time of edification, recovery and formation, at that time a strong foundation was laid to start. With small- and large-scale evangelism campaigns at home and abroad, events, & sermons we save souls for Jesus.
