Objectives

  1. The purpose of the foundation is to:
  2. Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide
  3. the performance of all further actions, which are related to or may be conducive to the above in the broadest sense;
  4. the foundation serves the foregoing exclusively or almost exclusively, (at least ninety percent (90%) ) the public interest.
  5. The foundation seeks to achieve its purpose by, among other things:
    • mission trips;
    • organizing campaigns;
    • caring for widows and orphans;
    • feed those who are hungry;
    • dress those who need clothing;
    • pray for the sick and needy;
    • take care of spiritual maintenance.
  6. The foundation is non-profit.
  7. The assets intended to achieve the purpose of the foundation are formed by:
  8. grants, sponsorships, gifts and donations;
  9. That which is obtained through inheritances or bequests;
  10. that which is obtained by other means.
  11. The foundation does not hold more assets than are reasonably necessary for the continuity of the anticipated work for its objective.

Founder and director

Dylan de Bruin leads the Brother Dylan Foundation and is responsible for its vision, international ministry, campaigns, and day-to-day management.

Advisory Board

The Brother Dylan Foundation is supported by an Advisory Board consisting of experienced leaders from the fivefold ministry with international missions.

Compensation Policy

  1. The Board: All directors may be reimbursed for expenses reasonably incurred in the performance of their duties. The directors shall receive no remuneration for their work.
  2. Personnel: As soon as there will be personnel, a salary regulation will be made with the CAO Welzijn & Maatschappelijk Dienstverlening current policy as a guideline.

Annual Reports

Financial Accountability

  1. The fiscal year is equal to the calendar year.
  2. At the end of each financial year the books of the foundation shall be closed. Therefrom the treasurer shall draw up a balance sheet and a statement of income and expenditure for the ended financial year, which annual accounts, if the board decides so, accompanied by an expert's report, shall be presented to the board within 6 months after the end of the financial year.
  3. The financial statements shall be adopted by the board. Except in special circumstances, discharge shall be granted to the treasurer upon adoption of the financial statements by the board.
